MiSat Buoy
The develogic MI.Sat II buoy is suitable for deep-water mooring deployments, and designed to withstand external pressure up to 50bar in case of temporary submergence, even under ice. Due to the synthetic foam material and corrosion proof titanium system housing, it is able to be deployed in all weather and conditions from the Arctic to the tropics for long-term deployments.
It has an integrated acoustic and inductive modem module for communication, allowing for bi-directional communication with the mooring mounted sensors and electronics. With the additional beacon, communication to the shore is possible. It is deployed with a refillable battery container (up to 2200Wh energy capacity) allowing for deep-water deployments due to no need for cabling, lasting up to 2 years. The upper antenna dome contains an IRIDIUM satellite transponder, a GPS receiver, antennas and a small navigation light.
All develogic MI.Sat II buoys are designed for your specific needs, with incorporation of multiple accessories and upgrades. Please see the brochure for more information, or email us directly.
