Beacon
The develogic satellite recovery beacon is suitable as compact telemetry solution for non-submerged applications such as data buoys etc.
With the satellite recovery beacon, it is possible to download data via the satellite link from equipment that was not recoverable but is drifting on the surface.
The system provides the following functionalities:
- Integrated GPS
- Iridium SBD satellite link
- LED flasher

- Ambient brightness sensor
- Backup battery (keeps system alive for up to 2 weeks when external power supply fails)
- Depth rated antenna and sensor module
- Integrated data logger (SDHC/SDXC card, FAT32 file system)
- Plug and play with other develogic modules
Standard operation mode is the periodic transmission of the GPS position via IRIDIUM SBD after surfacing and activation of the integrated flasher. In addition, it is possible to communicate bidirectionally with connected systems – e.g. for downloading sensor data, reconfiguring systems etc.
